Regional Transportation Demand Management Forum

Working together with the Games Mobility Executive (GME) partners, which includes the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, Caltrans, and Metrolink, SCAG is leading the GME Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Subcommittee to coordinate TDM initiatives across the region for the 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.   

The LA28 Games will be exciting and impactful for the entire Southern California region, particularly as an opportunity to rethink transportation networks. Recognizing the need to engage more regional partners in this work, SCAG is establishing the Regional TDM Forum to facilitate introductions and begin preparing for the significant coordination required for a successful LA28 Games. This forum is the initial engagement to foster dialogue among GME and regional partners regarding TDM strategies for the LA28 Games.
